The Importance of Education.

You would think by now that I would be so bored with education. Well you're wrong. Not most teens would admit this but I like being in an educational environment. I like how it structures my life and boy do I like structure... *coughs* OCD Alert.

Wake Up. Go Study. Eat. Socialise. Sleep.

^^This is my daily pattern that I have been used to all my life.^^

In all honesty, I'm so scared once I finish University. I will have my BA (Hons) Degree in Photography but once I get that it means that I need to get a reasonable job so I can support myself - whaaaaat?

Isn't that a scary thought?!

I don't know how I'll be without being told what to do & when to do it by. Sure work is similar to education because you will have deadlines to meet but it won't be the same. I won't have a lecturer to talk to and to check over my work. I'll be 'Miss Independent' and that's what shakes me up a little bit. I don't think I'm ready right now to enter the real world and even though I've had jobs before it still hasn't hit me hard that this will be my life once I graduate.

Anyway, to me education is such an important factor in my life. Back in secondary school I was predicted D's & E's and oh yes did I cry about that. I didn't think that I would get enough GCSE's to get into college but boy did I prove myself wrong. I even ended up shocking myself by getting multiple Distinction* and that's what pushed me into apply for Uni.

If you're still in education now, make the most of it! The years go by so quickly it's insane. If you have the opportunity to go to University... TAKE IT. The possibilities are endless and who knows where it will take you in the future.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
